About Chantal

Chantal Hackett is a multi-faceted diamond in the entertainment world!

Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) native, singer and entrepreneur, Chantal Hackett is as well rounded as a diamond that fulfills the four “C’s”: colour, cut, clarity and carat. She has not only released two albums and an EP since 2006, but she has also followed through with other musically inclined business ventures including: Music Teacher, Session Singer, Speaker, as well as founding and creating her own award winning Vocal and Performance Studio “Sing House Studios” in Ottawa, ON.

As rare in quality and equitably as diamonds are, her value and quality she brings to the Ottawa Valley is unsurpassed. Chantal’s brilliant colours have shined with her passion for the industry and her diverse portfolio. She’s a cut above the rest in her mission to empower others to follow their path and live their joy. It couldn’t be more clear than in her newly released singled “Love You” now available on all music digital platforms.

“My music seeks to offer a voice to those who feel they cannot speak up. To offer hope when all you can see is despair. And, most importantly to inspire others through my own experiences. My message is simple, no matter how broken things may seem, you too will shine again.” – Chantal

“Chantal is more than a diamond in the rough….she is a bright and shining light in this world not only with her gifted voice but also her soul and all that she represents….perseverance, courage, resilience…part of her story is told through her latest single “Love You” which reminds us all of what Chantal has lived personally”.
  – Tara Shannon, Independent Music Industry Consultant and Singer-Songwriter, Ottawa, ON

“Chantal has a rich and expressive voice that can draw you in with delicate sweetness and blow you away with power”
-Stephen Foley, Audio Valley Studios, Ottawa, ON

“Chantal and her new song “Love You” touched the hurt place in my heart and reminded me how loved I am. By me!!”
-Debbie Z, Debbie Z Entertainment, Nashville, TN

“Chantal’s vocals somehow convey the hopeful exuberance of a young girl with the world as her oyster (or, more appropriately, her diamond), and the wise teachings of an ancient goddess who has seen civilizations come and go but the same love story play out over and over across time. All to the building crescendo that reminds us what good summer pop songs are made of.”
Clarence Charron, Pop of Colour Blog & Music Marketing, Ottawa ON
